In our quest to “revolutionize the relationship between parent and children” we have recognized that we need something that both can relate to…such as the Internet. We are all children or child like when it comes to the Internet.
There is a huge fascination with the Internet and computers with children. To them it is like TV to the Baby Boomers one might guess. The challenge is that parents for the most part fear the Internet due to the possible dangers that lurk in an un-governed information superhighway. Baby Boomers don’t fully buy into it or understand it and most find it very complex to find what you want. Fear of fraud is also high on the list of on-line shoppers.
TV shows or DVD/VHS movies are the preferred media of parents. They know they can sit their child in front of the “Electronic babysitter” and know what their kids are doing and watching for the next 96 minutes.
So we have devised a TV show about the Internet, with a strong hero concept. Much like Superman and Batman were to TV, the Click4 will be the heroes of the Internet (The “Click Force”); Fighting Internet baddies (good vs. evil), such as Cyrus The Virus, a Worm, Hackers, the Evil Spammer, and the Pop-Ups. When these dangers present themselves and threaten the safety of the families and their computers, the fun loving helpful Click4’s can turn into the Click Force!
The Click4’s will be “Click4teaching” on education and learning while using the “Click4easygoals” process for how to overcome challenges and achieve what you want out of life. The two together will drive a commitment to learning, positive values, social competencies and positive identity.
Throughout the TV show, the Click4 will provide “edutainment” (Educational Entertainment) of substance and humour with the show developed in CG Animation and real life actors. It will give us the opportunity to see what it looks like “inside” the Internet! This will provide a tremendous opportunity to create a looking in\looking out view of the Internet. We are going to educate people about the net and how to be S.A.F.E. in it.
Role modeling, goals, fun and education will be the foundation of this show. READ PILOT #1
